Video Games Cause Violence

In 2011, researchers at Stockholm University found that players with preexisting mental issues could become so immersed in the gaming world that it would overflow into real life, making them believe it was totally a-OK to shoot a guy who ticked them off. Though the video game industry at large denies any link between gaming and real-world violence, two separate crime sprees were tied to the game Grand Theft Auto.
