Dark Side Of The Wizard Of Oz
If you queue up Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" album with the film The Wizard Of Oz and hit play on the stereo the moment after the MGM lion roars for a third time, you get some stunning coincidences. Among them: "Any Colour You Like" should begin as the movie switches from black and white to color; "The Great Gig in the Sky" starts when a tornado appears onscreen; and the words "which is which" in "Us & Them" as another witch shows up. The band, however, has mocked the theories of a deliberate synchronization in interviews over the years.
