The Fauna Fighters

Perhaps the first vegan superheroes, the Melbourne-based duo The Fauna Fighters, comprised of Flying Fox and The Thylacine (an extinct animal also known as the Tasmanian tiger) use their superpowers to aid animal-rights and ecological groups. They organize cleanups, protests, and locate lost pets. The girlfriend and boyfriend crime-fighting team first met and bonded through their love of comics and animals. With their trusty dog Lois by their side, the duo helps homeless dogs find families and, uh, fearlessly picks up trash.
