Abraham Lincoln Invented Facebook

Did you know that Abraham Lincoln invented Facebook in 1845? That is what Nate St. Pierre, a blogger, was able to get the internet community to believe. He "authenticated" this whopper of a lie by showing a fabricated newspaper article and setting up a long story about Lincoln's invention. The story went that the 16th POTUS had set up the paper-and-ink version of the social network, which included profile pictures and status updates, a whole 159 years before Zuckerberg.
