Facebook Timeline Hoax

Privacy on the Internet comes with an expiration date. Facebook users complained that the website's then-new timeline interface made private messages from 2007 public. Facebook explained that the messages were actually individual Wall posts that people had used to communicate with each other before Facebook implemented the Like and comment-on-a-post features. Apparently, part of the confusion is that back in '07, people were a lot less concerned about cyber-privacy.
