16 Reasons Your Vote Won't Count in the 2012 Elections
15. Voter ID Laws
Several conservative states, including Tennessee and Arizona, have passed laws in recent months making voting legal only to those who bring IDs to the polls. This, of course, would disenfranchise anyone who does not have an ID on them or one with a photo. Wait in line ten hours and forgot your wallet at home? Too bad, can't vote. Conservatives say the laws are designed to prevent voter fraud, an almost completely fictional anomaly in today's America, while liberals complain this is an attempt to prevent the poor from voting.
