1. Jack Wheeler
A respected Pentagon official, Wheeler went missing in late 2010 only to show up on security cameras wandering around Wilmington, Delaware, wearing just one shoe and dressed in unfamiliar clothes. His murdered body was later found in a landfill, dead of blunt force trauma. The perpetrator has not been found.
