Howard Dean's Yell

It was the scream that sunk a presidential campaign. As liberal firebrand Howard Dean attempted to rally his supporters after a disappointing third place finish in the 2004 Iowa caucuses, his voice rose and finally culminated in an embarrassing strangled yelp. The effect was immediate. Dean's popularity plummeted and the one-time grassroots favorite became the whipping boy of late-night comedy shows.
