Insurance Companies Won't Insure Wrestlers?

Most wrestlers receive substantial pay for their services but their injuries are often severe and long-term. To make matters worse, performers reportedly work as independent contractors with some organizations and receive no medical benefits. Jesse Ventura reportedly tried to stage a strike at the WWF over this very issue, but he was ratted out by other wrestlers who were afraid of incurring McMahon's wrath.
