Snoop and his body guard, McKinley Lee, were charged in the 1993 gang-related shooting of Philip Woldemariam. The two were found not guilty, apparently stemming from inconsistent testimony as to whether or not Woldemariam attempted to pull out a gun, but a mistrial was declared when the jury deadlocked on a manslaughter charge against both men.
