Lauwers masterminded psy-ops campaigns aimed at breaking the will of Axis soldiers. She was responsible for the sexually provocative "League of Lonely War Women" letter that was circulated among German troops to make them believe that their women back home were seeking phsyical gratifciation with any soldier in uniform.
