Jack Ass v. Jackass
With an upstanding name like Jack Ass, you can imagine how shocked and offended you would be with the MTV show Jackass. How dare they defame the good Ass name? Montana resident Jack Ass legally changed his name from Bob Craft in 1997 in order to promote an anti-drunk driving campaign he launched after the death of his brother. In 2002, Ass filed a lawsuit against Viacom, claiming that their show ruined his reputation and defamed him. The case never went to court, as Mr. Ass was found dead in 2003.
