Sex Toys Are Still Illegal

You may have heard that, in 2009, a Federal appeals court overruled a ban on sex toy sales in Texas. You would think that ruling would open the door to sales in all states, but tell that to Alabama, which is stuck in the Dark Ages when it comes to personal lives. Just one year later, 'Bama upheld the ban on selling sex toys, but the suit, brought by the shop Love Stuff in Hoover, continues.
