In "Nikola Tesla's Death Ray and the Columbia Space Shuttle Disaster," author Sean Casteel argues that photos exist that show "anomalous flashes of purple light around the shuttle minutes before it was destroyed. NASAS [sic] later confiscated the photographer's camera and flew it to Mission Control by a special jet."
